Most turners, after a period of time, tend to personalize their tools or modify them to suit their specific turning needs.
Adding items like tool holders, shelves, sharpening stations, dust collection, vacuum chuck, lights on the lathe or a tool shelf underneath.

QOTW
How have you personalized or added to your lathe (work area) to fit your needs?

I re-ground a 1/2 round scraper, that a grind of 70 degrees on the bottom,  And reground both sides to 35 degrees.  It takes
out all my tool marks on the inside of bowls.  Saves a lot of sanding time.   Have touch it up  fairly often,  but that is quicker than sanding.

I turned wooden handles to first over the metal ones on my tailstock locking handle, banjo and tool rest handles - much nicer to use.
