I've done open segmented translucent corian, which is just a fancy acrylic, and used thin CA as the glue. It was not fun!   Sad

You could also use methylene chloride. It actually welds the acrylic pieces together.

I did go through the gallery, but I didn't see this one. I spent more time looking at the Richard Raffen boxes. Interesting piece...
