This time I show you the emergence of a walnut ballit does not explode either )


The KDV from Manfred is doing very well
I never thought that making balls would be so much fun

Thanks for the video Roger...I would like to try and turn a 'ball' someday but I must admit the one thing lacking in your video is how you made the transition from the original mount to address the 'ends'.  How did you do those?

i will show it next time when i woll do again a ball, i cut it with the hand saw and sand it down

Roger, I had the same question about removing the ends.... Also, there is a video section here where you can post these.

Richard Raffan demonstrated turning a large ball in an early woodturning video.  Not sure if that is the video link above.
