I sweep and dust mop my shop floor every day some times a couple times a day. But it’s still slippery. Do any of you have suggestions on what to do about it? What have you done to correct the problem?

What is the coating on your floor? From that we can suggest alternate solutions.

Or, you can do what most of us here do and rather than sweeping and dust mopping every day, just shovel the shavings from the from floor once-a-month or so. 

sherman williams paint store sell a paint addition to stop this. i used this in an epoxy paint and it works. i did not use a clear coat on top as this would defeat the purpose.

How about metal spiked golf shoes! A traction paint is as easy as it gets.

There are a number of ways to keep concrete floors from being so slippery, but they are still hard - your knees will start complaining after several hours of standing on concrete. 

I use interlocking rubber mats on the concrete floor in my shop to address both slipperiness and hardness.  I originally bought mats at Lowes, but later found that Harbor Freight has them at a lower price.

Just read this, I need to make a warning on using certain epoxy paints in confined areas.  I used to work for a place that sold and had application crews that applied these floor coatings.  It's been a while since I worked there but one thing I cannot stress more is read the instructions (if you DIY) regarding ventilation and using respirators.  We almost lost a crew due to not using respirators in a confined space and were overcome by the fumes.
This stuff worked great once applied and the fumes had dissipated but the fumes can be very strong and dangerous if not handled correctly.
