Just had a guy come into my store originally wanting to buy frames for his 4 groomsmen and then he started looking at the bowls on the display shelves.

He ended up buying 3 bowls and a vase for the guys and as he was at the front table, he picked up my latest piece.. a 12" x4" spalted Beech bowl and decide he would get that for himself and his wife as a wedding present of sorts.

The bowl went for $220 and the overall total was $700!!!

Yet another bowl that sold before I could even photograph it.

Funny, that bowl had sat on my lathe for 3 months and I finally finished it over the 4th weekend.

The father of his friend where the wedding is being held turned goblets for them, I guess that is why he was so attuned to the wood.

As for framing, I'm so far behind..70 pieces in here right now..., I'll need to stay till 8pm the rest of the week and over the weekend in a vain attempt to get caught up.
