Still playing at making spheres. This was rounded using the Vermec. The challenging part of this was the inlay. I have a very tiny gap at one side of the large circle. Also a very tiny bit of tearout beside the outside of one edge of the 8. I could not stop this tearout. The sphere lost almost 1/4" of diameter as I kept trying to turn away the tearout. It was deep when I first noticed it.

Ed, do you happen to have a picture of the jig, modified Cole jaws, you use when hollowing your Christmas ornaments?
Thanks, Ed Sims
