Wood Turners Finish

Anyone using this waterborne urethane finish off the lathe, coating the entire surface inside and out and then letting dry?  If so, could you describe your applicator and process please.  I am not interested in coating the inside and letting dry, then coating the outside and letting dry, et cetera.  Thanks in advance.

I bought 2 gallons of water based urethane because it was on sale. I hate the stuff! Does not flow well and sets before one can brush it out. This is on flat stock. Does not like to be sprayed either.  Haven't really tried it on bowls.
This is my findings, others may have other results.
