Yin/Yang Vessel

My latest project, a Yin/Yang Vessel. I used Maple and Wenge for this one. It measures 16 " high and 8 " at the widest.
The Yin Yang symbol took some learning and figuring out. I found Carl Jacobson from The Woodshop's video that explains how Mike made a template for the symbol . It worked great.
An oops on gluing the symbol to a waste block for turning, I glued it on the wrong way so the tails faced wrong and would have chipped and caught so had to part it off and redo that. So if someone makes the symbol make sure the tails spin the right way while turning.

Interesting piece. Curious, did you turn the entire inside? If so, did you turn as you added rings. Or are you set up to hollow 16" deep?

The inside is hollowed out all the way and I did it as I added rings.
