Hondo, I agree with Ed. I watched your videos. I assume you have progressed in the last 2 yrs. Slow down your ambition and RPM. There are many smaller items which sell well and will and are within your skill level and will not shake your equipt apart, and cause severe injuries (I've been turning for 59 yrs, been there). The chisels you have are OK, they just need more frequent sharpening. Your new lathe is OK but treat it gently. Lathes and dogs, don't beat them or they'll bite you. Bless you and stay on your quest.

It's been my experience and observation that a lathe is the least expensive part of wood turning. It's all the accessories that are needed that cost way more

I kinda have been turning smaller things now that I've depleted my wood supply. Have a piece of purple plum that had defeated me four times. After I got some really helpful advice on this site I removed the broken screws and put my new faceplate on. Eight holes do much better than 4. So I finally got it round. Have to stop there for a few days. I went to Woodcraft to get an adapter for my chuck.  The sales guy glanced at it and said "they don't make those" and walked off.  I wondered around to the Nova case and sitting there was a 3/4 adapter that he said didn't exist. I got pretty angry and left the store. I won't go back. They can have their $100 chisels and $50 tiny piece of wood. I found the one I needed at Amazon and they didn't lie to my face. It will be here next week.

I am supposed to get a new air compressor for my birthday/Christmas. I think the 7 years I got out of it was worth the $99 I spent on it.  Kinda miss it. It cleared off my table  and got dust out of my bowls and I have a sander I just bought to use on my bowls to remove those annoying lines that won't go away any other way.

I love gadgets that work.  Improved gadgets are even better.

The most valuable lesson one can learn is the ability to tell the difference between tools and gadgets.
The earlier the lessen is learned the better.
