When you say stabilizer, what type of process or application are you looking at?

Are we talking brush on or a Vacuum chamber?

I put the mixture in a new one gallon paint can. add the wood and leave it soak until it sinks. I than take it out and put it some place to dry.  Charlie

You can use lacquer but the one issue you might run into, is putting a finish over it. Not everything will adhere to lacquer.
