Hello from Orange, tX

10 years ago I bought my wife a beautiful cypress bowl.  The craftsman let me tour his shop.  I was fascinated by it that 10 years later I decided to dive in and give it a try.  I wish I would have found this site before I made any purchases but water under the bridge.  Have started out and a bit discouraged with initial results.  Enjoying turning wood so not giving up.  Hopefully this group can share their wisdom and help me get over some rough bumps.  Will post in the appropriate channel.

Welcome aboard. As you've found out, better to ask a question here about most anything first before dropping $$$.
Don't hesitate to ask.

Everyday liberating nice things from ordinary chunks of wood---and I like gnarly wood, the outcome is nearly always better than the start.
