Hot melt glue sticks
Dec 21st, 2021 at 12:58pm

Recently found this guy. He is not sponsored, and as near as I can tell, he does this for fun. For any tool testing, he is excellent. This video is on hot melt glue sticks, which works best. He also does one on CA glues, but none of the brands he uses are what we turners use, and the 'instructions' on them say not to use on wood. Anyway, here is a comparison on hot melt glue sticks:

I have been watching more of his videos. He does one on cordless chainsaws, one on chain saw sharpeners, one on wood glues. Really worth watching for any tool you have in mind. Haven't seen a bandsaw or lathe one though...

That Oregon bench sharpener is more like  $450    But by far is the fastest way to sharpen a chain.   I have sharpened  thousands of chains.

Side note, Ken Rizza does make CBN wheels for chain saw sharpeners. I had seen them before, but they were over $100, and I know Ken will most likely have them cheaper than that.
