I am trying to figure out which hollowing system to buy. I am hoping someone might have a comment that would help me make up my mind  and make the big move?

Disclaimer, I have a McNaughton system.

The Oneway and Woodcut systems have cutters that determine the curvature of the bowl that can not be changed by the turner. The shape of the cutter is the shape of the bowl, period.
The McNaughtpn system, has many sizes of knives available and the shape can be altered by the turner. (to a degree)

Some find the McNaughton to be difficult or have a learning curve. I can't speak to this as I never experienced it.

If there is something specific you want to know, I know the members here can answer it

I believe the OP is asking about hollowing systems not coring systems.
Here is my opinion of the various methods.
For hollowing to depths up to 12” an articulating rig works well. 12”+ can be done but becomes more difficult.
Depths in excess of 12” are easy to do with a captured system. But do require thicker boring bars as one goes deeper.

I have a Trent Bosch articulating system.  Well built unit. I’ve used other but for hollowing up to about 10 deep this is the one I prefer.

I have the original Elbo, but the new version looks much better. There is always Lyle Jamisons set up and I believe Carter has one and everything I have seen from them has been very high quality. Just do a few searches for videos of the various options and narrow it down to a couple and then give them a call.  They are happy to talk to you about their products.

You're correct, and I'm an idiot.
He wrote hollowing, I read coring. I need to get those wires fixed.

When you want to know about coring, ask me again  Embarrassed

Good choice, I’ve been using Lyle’s rig for 15+ years.
