Too Cold

It's been too cold outside to work in the shop! Texas has been closed down due to sub-freezing weather and ice. Been down in the 20's the last 4 days. Raining today, but still below freezing.

How's everybody else?

Well it hasn't snowed for more than a week (57" total so far) and our high yesterday was 11(warmest in a week). Tomorrow it's predicted to have no temperature with a high of 0 and -14 low.   So yes it's been too cold for the workshop. 

My son lives in Jarrel, TX and worked from home the past couple days because of the ice.  When one of his coworkers said "It ain't that bad"  my son said, "Yeah, but I won't make enough in a day to cover the deductible if I wreck my truck trying to come to the shop."

Winter is still hanging on (such as it is here).
Been working outside every day for the last two weeks, some days 3 layers, other days a tee shirt.
The little tree rat in PA said we have 6 more weeks of winter. Funny how that would make Spring in the middle of March, kind of early, don't you think?

Hardly any rain this winter, and with my Irish ancestry, I love the rain. Hope it is not a scorching summer, and hope the 'fire' season doesn't happen. All of our rain has been going to central California. They need it worse than we do... Getting ready to do some more videos! Still trying to find some one to make my grinder platforms...
