Had a customer come to the shop with a drawing and ask if i could turn something from some highly grained wood with a really smooth finish.  She explained that its a nostepinne.
Ok , what the heck is a nostepinne.  Well this old dog learned something new. I turned it from a piece of Kentucky Coffee wood.
