First, I would like to say thank you for selecting me. I was very surprised, this is truly an honor. I’m 35 years old and have been married for almost 15 years and have two boys 6 yrs. and 21 months old. I served in the Marine Corps from 1994-1997. I work at Flight Safety, International, as a Maintenance Technician and have been there for over 12 years. I’ve been woodturning for 7 years. I’m a member of the Northeastern Oklahoma Woodturner's Association and the American Association of Woodturner's. I started out building furniture, cabinets and most other flat work for many years before finding my obsession with woodturning. I do several local shows a year and sell a lot by word of mouth. I make Custom Game Calls, Pens, Bowls, Stave Vessels, etc. I started making Stave Vessels about a year ago when a friend got cancer and asked me to make him a urn. I had a buddy show me how to make them. My friend that had cancer got to see the urn about 3 days for he passed away. That was the most meaningful piece I’ve ever made. I’ve started adding some segmented rings to the stave vessels. I‘m truly amazed at some of the segmented work that is on this site. There are very talented turners on here who like to share their thoughts and ideas. I would like to take this time to thank everybody who helps run this site so we have a place to gain knowledge and see Outstanding Woodturning's!

Thank you for your time and good luck turning!
