I had split the log and turned a regular bowl with the other side. When this challenge came along, I was looking at what I had ready to turn and this is what jumped on and off the lathe. Eight inches on the sides and about five inches tall. Finished with several coats of Danish oil and a couple top coats of lacquer.<br /><br />4 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=10604&title=square-natural-edge-spalted-birch&cat=708 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=10604&title=square-natural-edge-spalted-birch&cat=708 Fri, 12 Oct 2012 03:31:54 +0000
