      About Me Well what's to say. I've been a stay-home dad for 18 years, and started turning in 2005. Bought a cheap Mastercraft tube-lathe to start, and it mushroomed into something I didn't think I'd get into. Then in October 2007 bought my Jet 1642EVS 1.5 hp lathe, and just love it. Sold some pieces, gave some away, did a craft sale, and now have my work on display at the local arts center. Getting better all the time, mostly learning on my own.
