Phyllotaxis

A vessel inspired by the work of John Jordan. Latest in my Fibonacci series although this is a little more subtle. There are 8 spirals in each direction and it is symmetrical. This was kind of a Mickey Mouse piece.

THis should have been in the movie Aliens. I think it's great! I am happy to see you leave the grain visible. Too often we see pieces like this that are overdone to the point they might as well be plastic. This Is excellent

Thanks everyone. The alien/hulk metaphor hadn't occurred to me, but totally makes sense. It really is a nice piece to hold in your hands.
