The top three are segmented from various woods; the middle one is lignum vitae (guayacan), and the bottom two are Ecuadorian mahogany. Size as per challenge rules.
Thanks Curt, they were fun to make and my first incursion into laminated stuff. Kind of nice to get rid of some of my scrap pieces in a meaningful way.
Welcome, Jim. The tops I have been making do not qualify for the WR Challenge, but kids love them. Tippy Tops are fun to give away, and watch the faces when the top flips over and spins on the stem.
