Hollow ASH cube with collars

There are 7 different woods involved here: Narra, purpleheart, brazilian cherrywood, Jatoba and a couple others I am not real sure about and will try to remember and post later. All six sides have collars each of a different wood. Like I said my wife went "yuk" and my son's reaction was "what is that"

Philip, having had the pleasure of meeting your wife and son, I can see how they might have reacted that way, but all in good humor. There is a lot of good work in this piece, and it is truely original. Underdog has it right with "whimsical." and echo on the "Wow!"

I love it Philip! It looks like something from outer space, like it should be making a pinging sound, like it's watching from whatever angle you look at it. All that time out of town on training missions may have made you go a little "postal" in the design maybe? I think I'll display it sitting on one of the 45 degree corners though. Thanks!
