Here's the first go at an ornament for the AAW project. The bowl is a round bottom bowl, 2 3/4" dia. x 1 1/4" deep, about 1/8" wall thickness. Turned a christmas tree and then cut it in half for the two inside. Painted the inside with acrylic paints, the outside is finished with satin lacquer finish. The bowl is HF maple and the trees are cherry. Drilled a small hole and then glued a piece of wire bent to have a hanging loop.
