If you don't mind me asking, how did you go about remounting and turning down the base of the one on the left?

These are terrific!! Makes me look at my pile of found Cedar in a whole different light. I almost wish I hadn't chunked it up already lol.

You're haveing too much fun with all that cedar. They look terrific. I'm think I'm with Gil on the foot though. The more round bottom seems to fit with the style better. Nice work though. You've brought out the beauty that only cedar can display. 8)

thank you for the compliments, i love working with cedar, it has so many colors and the shop always smells good afterwords

zugunru, the one on the right is returned, i always put the finish on before i part it off. trial and error from past turnings that i messed up and could not put back on the lathe.
