First I want to say thanks to my wife, Linda. It was her idea and she did the layout. Small goblet is walnut tall goblet is maple thanks to Yak, I broke the stem on the first one and was out of dry maple. The brandy snifter is oak, much fun! Size is 14X14.

Wow. That is very nice. What are you doing with the other halves of the vessels? Making one for yourself/wife? I bet you could sell that to a winery. Hmmmmm, gives me an idea. . . .
Chicken? I'd say that was a good call. Maybe next time you could cut the blank in two and turn the two halves together. I seem to remember reading about that somewhere for identical spindle halves on wainscoting. I wish I could remember how the two halves stayed together.
WOW! I'm making some wine stoppers to send with some local wines to a friend's wedding shower. But now. . . . hmmmm. . .wonder how many corks I can dig up in the next two days
Beautiful turnings and kudos to your wife for the idea!
