All 4 of these are turned from 2x2 mahogany that I traded a fellow in Maine for. Looks like it's been part of a barn for a long time. A beautiful dark grey/silver on the outside. Inside it is pure mahogany. After talking over the logistics with Chris last June and reading some more of the articles, I finally understand what I was doing wrong with those I turned for the symposium. Anyway, these are 3-3 1/4" tall, roofs nearly 2" wide, bodies >1 1/4" wide. Two of them are finished with one coat of Minwax clear shield. The other two are unfinished right now. Critiques welcome. Still trying to get the process down. 8)
