looking good dude! keep them coming. how did you finish the foot?

I finished the foot by first shaping the outside almost to where I wanted it leaving enough to screw back onto my faceplate and be able to true it back up again. Then finished the platter portion, sanded the entire thing and parted the piece most of the way off. trued as much of the bottom as I could. Sawed off the last little bit and then sanded the bottom. Sounds like a strange procedure at first but I sont have a chuck so I do everyting with my faceplate. I'll put up a pic of the bottom.
