English walnut bowl

Wife wanted s little candy dish to give to a friend so I found the round tuit under some shavings. Then I found a piece of very wet English walnut. An hr & 20 min. later, she had her bowl.

Kind of a pretty little bowl (5" x 3".) It's already beginnin' to change shape. It's thin enough so it shouldn't crack.

Sure does look like box elder to me. But, no matter. Looks like somebody's going to have one nice candy dish. What finish did you decide on for this one? 8-)
