nodakday's slimline pen challenge

For my challenge, I received some beautiful ND cedar from Ron that I was able to add a Celtic knot made of piano key Ivory and I even made a center band of the same Ivory. The finish is CA 3x's, sanded down to 6000 with 2 coats of Shellawax. My main headache came from the center band. I had to make 3 before I was able to get the one I liked. The kit was a slim, so I decided to use larger bushings make it a thicker pen. Real nice in the hand. I hope you like it.

Looks like your usual high quality. Love the knot. I really do have to give that a try. Also like your use of the piano keys. Would I be right in assuming that the material is a synthetic ivory? Either way it looks great with the cedar. 8-)

no Rev..... pre-ban Ivory. the real stuff. you can buy the key skins on ebay and at not too expensive.
