Tigerwood ornament for Bill Noce

The ornament is made from tigerwood and is 4 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest point, 2 coats of wipe on polly and then finished with a spray gloss polly. Hope you like it Bill, it'll be in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday for sure.

Paul, its also called goncalo alves or zebrawood, but the piece I had, had the word tigerwood written on it when I picked it up at the kiln drying plant.

Looks good, Wizzy! I've never tried turning a whole ornament from a single piece of stock. That much length would be challenging once the diameters are reduced.
