Like many of you folks, I've been busy making Christmas presents for some people that have been very good to me this year. Here are some of mine. Anyone else have some?
Thanks for looking and all comments welcome.
Merry Christmas!! Don L.
PS-That giant candle in the back is actually straight. Weird photo thing!
Thanks Bill! Funny you should pick them out, they're for my father. They can be candle stick holders or vases for dry flower arrangements. They turned out to be more difficult to make than I thought. Wish the little one was bigger, but I just ran out of wood. Thanks again for the compliment, Don L.
Merry Christmas!!!
Stop it !!!!!! far too good. Lovely jobs Don, are you in the shop all day and night. I ain't gonna catch you up now am I !!!!!
Ruining lots of good wood to get a few average bits.
Well, this has certainly caused a problem in this house because my wife and I have been screaming and throwing plates and books and knives and, well, anything portable at each other all evening because she says the plate on the left is best and I insist the tea light holder is the best.
The plate on the left must be best because my wife is always right (but I still say the tea light holder is best)
You want to see the state of my house, and it's all Don's fault.
Leo-You're doing great, have you made anything for presents? Do you guys do that sort of thing down there in the Canary's?
Bren-You two certainly are passionate about woodturning;] ! Maybe I should start on a couple Christmas presents for you two folks, a couple of huge Walnut gladiator type shields. Would you like a tea light in yours?
Seriously, thanks for all your comments, I always look forward to them!
Merry Christmas, Don
Don,
I suddenly ended up going to the Dentist nearly overy day recently, so only managed to rough out a Christmas ornament for the C & T. My next project will be full set of gnashers for my poor old mouth. Hope your treatment is on track.
