No, it isn't pink ivory. Bloodwood is very chatoyant, and so will turn darker or lighter every time you turn it 90°. If I had been paying more attention, I would have made sure the top and bottom were oriented the same so that they would both appear the same from any angle. As it is, they appear to be oriented about 90° apart so that when one appears dark the other is light and vice-versa.
