Trophy Cup

This is maple burl and ebony that I recently turned. I was inspired by the big horse race in Hot Springs recently and thought I make my impression of a trophy cup. This piece is about 10 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. It's about 1/16" thick at the top to 1/8" at the bottom. Coated with several layers of gloss wipe on poly. Your comments and critique are appreciated.
