Sycamore burl banana platter

I imagine this tray could hold all sort of different items, but I use it to hold banana's.
This wood had alot of spots where the wood was so soft and powdery (about 1/3 of the material)and I couldn't get it to finish clean, with tools, or with sanding. So, I finished it the best I could, tried to make it look old and worn, and put it to work holdin my nanners'.
It's about 9 1/2" from tip to tip to tip, and finished in linseed oil. Mad from the same burl as the sycamor burl with void thats in my album, and a hollow form I'm currently workin at.
