Here you have two turkey calls with striker, all three pieces are made from African mahogany. The one on the left is a slate call and the other is a glass call. My trading partner will have a choice of which "one" they prefer.
The slate is 4" x 7/8" and the glass is 3 1/2" x 1", both finished with CA and carnauba wax. I hope they meet your approval.
They look great Wizzy, but I ain't got a clue about um. Do you just whack em, or is there a tune to play. Sorry but I am way out of it here, our only turkeys are frozen, from Iceland..........not sure if that's the country or the Shops name ????? SORRY for my ignorance Sir.
Ruining lots of good wood to get a few average bits.
LOL... Leo, you take apiece of sand paper, ruff up a little spot around the center of the call and lightly drag, rub the striker across the scratched area and it produces the sound of a turkey.Wizzy
