Plum Natural Edge bowl.
This is some plum from the same tree as the natural edge goblet in my gallery. I turned this to final green, boiled it to prevent cracking, and allowed it to dry on a shelf in the basement. The tree was cut down this summer so the bark didn't hold well after it dried and has been removed.
The finish is layers of lacquer and a spray on acrylic. The size is about 9" from wing tip to wing tip and about five inches tall.
