hey guys. i haven't been around lately due to some side jobs(not that i'm complaining), but i haven't got to do alot of turning the past few months. here is a new one though. curly maple, and paduk. 122 pieces 5"tall x 4.5" wide. any comments welcome.

Simply lovely. The grain on the maple is maybe a bit much for the accent bands. Still a lovely piece.

when I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a much bigger piece. I was surprised when I read the info & saw it was only 5". Pretty maple

thanks everyone, robert, i totally agree with you. the curly maple sounded good on paper, but it did come out a bit busy looking.
