Cherry and Holly Bowl

I made this bowl from an old 7/4 plank of Cherry. The insert is Spalted Holly and the accent band is dyed black with magic marker and textured with a burr bit in a Dremel. Holly is finished with Deft Satin Brushing Lacquer and the Cherry has multiple coats of Tung Oil. All is three wheel buffed.

I like this piece Nate, the timbers work well together with the help of a cleaver textured seperation band. Very nice job indeed Thumbs Up!
