Nice top-topped box.  However, calling it a dreidel box is a bit of a stretch.  Dreidels are usually four sided tops with a Hebrew letter on each side.

I like this project, and will have to try it one of these days.

I saw that last evening and had to go out to the shop and make one.  Cheesy  It took me two tries because I made the inside bigger than the outside on the first box, but the second one turned out nice.  I think I will use custom wooden jaws to finish turn the bottom of the spin top in the future, though.  It is kind of tough to get the top back out of the box without marring if the opening is tight enough to allow turning on the top.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who from time to time makes the inside bigger than the outside. It makes me feel better when I see even the pros like you still do it sometimes.

Someone once told me that "if you're not making a mistake from time to time, you're not growing any in your abilities."  Push the envelop from time to time.  Learn something new.  Make your mistakes and learn from them.
