ARRGGGHHHH!  I just realized I have to be out of town for the next 2 days.  Bowl lathe will have to wait until later.  Maybe Tuesday afternoon?  Let's hope I can work it out.

Pics of the new (to me) bowl lathe are up.  Go Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register and scroll down to response #20 to see it. & Might even get to the point of having it in place and running by the end of the weekend.  More to come on that.

Moved a step closer tonight.  Got the grinder set up on the bench directly behind the Nova 1624.  Also found a few more things, including the adjustable pen mandril, and was able to find them a new home that made more better sense.  It is about to come together.  Smiley  If I could only get the storage side as organized.  Smiley

Cheesy No I didn't notice.  You guys are so dry there that you really can store some things outside.  We had more rain since I've been home than you normally get on an annual basis.  Anyway, the problem is that I really don't care about that stuff.  If I can get the shop side complete I'll be really happy.  Wife and kid continually drag stuff in and just drop it just inside the door.  "I'll get it later," is what I hear every time.  Never gets moved or put away.  I'll catch them both gone one day and I'll toss and place.  Then I'll put a pad lock on the door and dare them to move something without putting it back in its assigned location.  There will be more room then.  Hmmm.   Roll Eyes Wonder how much more wood I can get in there?

As of today's news, they are reporting that we have had a total of 1.07" of rain so far this year.  That is 1/8 of our normal annual rainfall in almost half of the year.  That is why we are a little dry this year.  Hmm,  now that I mention it, I think I'll go mix another drink. Wink Wink

Rained everyday since I've been home.  I don't want to live in the desert, but I could sure do with some dryer weather for a while.  Had tornadoes and loads of rain tonight just down the road.  We got by with a bit over 1" of rain.  Light night I guess.

Don't feel bad Rev, we've been getting it too, darn storms have laid my corn down as if a herd of buffalo's went through it night before last, got more of it this past evening and their calling for more of it for the rest of this week. bang head bang head bang head

What really made me made was... the corn was dew to be picked in 3 more week!!! Looks like I'll be breaking out the life jackets and waiting for high tide if this crap keeps up!!!
