Nice shop, and best of all you have plenty of room to expand. I like the big fan I have one i made that comes in handy when i turn kiln dried wood, to draw the dust away from me.

it works but you have to have a long 220 cord or really long leads.running it inside the wood shop just does'nt seem like a good idea or maybe I'll have to clean up the chips better.

Mine isn't that big, but I do have a large "exhaust" fan.  I haven't used it because it has a 220 motor on it and my old shop didn't have 220.  I have 1 220 outlet now for my bowl lathe.  I guess when I'm not using Big Blue I could have that big fan plugged up and moving some serious air.  Dang, now I have to put my thinking hat on and figure out how to mount that big boy up.

BTW, nice shop space.  Looks like you have some room left to store some nice wood.

It depends on the modification, Chuck. Adding the cartridge filter and the Thien baffle were definitely worth doing. The extended collar thingy made things worse. The neutral vane is still up in the air. I plan on taking it out next time I have the CD apart and seeing if it makes any difference.

Mark, here are the mods Chuck is talking about:

The cartridge filter is shown on that page, and the Thien baffle is explained in the link at the bottom of that page. Wink
