you can not even make use of the chips, too much dirt mixed in when they are cleaned up. only good use i can see for it, is clearing thick dense brush fields.

Waste yes. However it is far more cost efective for companies to use this for clearing land for new construction. Do I like it... No. However I can see the use for it. It also reminds me of something out of James Bond Smiley .

Those things are wicked.
These are great for getting rid of "selected" trees, dead, diseased or whatever. where you can't fell a tree.
