So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I watched his videos many times when I started turning and learned so much.

I just now came across this very sad news. Bob's videos were far and away my favorites. He seemed to be incredibly modest for someone so obviously talented, and he did not appear to take himself overly seriously. He responded generously to questions and offered insightful observations. His family has my condolences on this loss.

He is and will be missed.

I'll second that, and in addition, I'll add that he was always a classy guy. Even when being critical he did it with class and grace. A true gentleman.

RIP Bob.

Really a sad time, Bob will surely be missed, I think I watched every video Bob made, he made each video very understandable. I did learn from Bob, prayers and condolences
to and for the family.... God Bless Him...

Jason, I hope you take comfort in the many people who found your father to be such an inspiration. I discovered him first on You Tube and then on this forum. He was not only incredibly talented as a woodturner and teacher but also clearly a person of great integrity. There are not enough people of his quality in our world. We shall all miss him.

I still like watching Bob's videos. They bring back much fun in turning and I enjoy his dialect. Also, they get me going again.

THANKS, Bob
