Hello,
I’m from Cornwall south west England UK. I have come here to begin my wood turning and wood working journey. I’m not a complete stranger to wood as a son of a carpenter but I’m a mechanic by day. I look forward to joining in, is there any members from my side of the Atlantic pond?

Welcome James, make yourself at home

At the top of the thread you'll see a tab labeled "map". There you'll be able to see all the members locations (if they provided them).
Currently we have a half a dozen or so from the UK and several more spread accross Europe.

Hello James,
I'm another UK newcomer now living on the Isle of Man I moved here at the start of the Covid jobby from Plymouth having enjoyed Devon and Cornwall for a most enjoyable decade I still miss lots of that beautiful area but am equally at home here now. Hope you enjoy your woodturning journey and your time here on the forum...
