If you already have a chuck, get the same brand. I have heard that the Wen chucks aren't that great. I would recommend that you stay with Nova or Record Power which will accept Nova jaws. Of course if you want top of line Oneway or Vicmarc.

I do not have a Wen chuck.  I recently bought a Wen cross feed vise for my drill press and am impressed with what a well made tool it is.  Wen is selling small milling machines and lathes now. I expect they make a decent chuck for the money.

I would be wary as Wen is one of those 'store' brands similar to Husky and the like. Not known for quality but rather price point. Old adage, you get what you pay for, rings true with tools.

A:) Let's take roll call to see if we're all here.
B:) Well now, it could be that we are all here, then some of us aren't all there.
A:) Right, let the record show that we are here.
C:) Who?

Similar to the space program - we landed on the moon with equipment that that was provided by the lowest bidder - it worked !!!!! I had a forest river chuck - it was not the best of quality but it would do a fair job -  I love my supernova 2 - I have three - and a plethora of jaws and accessories that are interchangeable but if it is in the word of my buddy all I got , buy it !
