Greetings!
I’m sure there are some here who might parallel my tale. I’m a retired E911 network guy who was sitting at home during covid. Nothing to do to fill those isolated days. I happened upon a woodturning YouTube and got intrigued. I bought a tiny desktop lathe by WEN, and a set of Benjamin’s Best tools, and off I went. YouTube lessons got me going. In about 4 months I upgraded to a Nova II lathe, with a decent chuck, and am picking up better tools as I go along. I’ve turned tops and mini Christmas trees, some candlesticks, and a couple of candy dishes. It’s been a real kick.
