My only question is, Did you get the C&T done before cutting into your turning time?

Wahoo came home and there it was. The package from Jim Quarles with wood that I've never seen. Mesquite, Acacia, Sweet Acacia, Olive and Desert Ironwood pen blanks. I haven't invested in the pen making equipment yet but I can see it in the near future. This is fun stuff. Thanks Jim

Me too!  Got home and a box from John Long was sitting on my work table.  Indian Rosewood, Cuban Mahogany, Camphor, Lacewood, and Red Gum Eucalyptus.  Lots of fun stuff that I am seeing all kinds of possibilities.  Thank you, John.  I have your box ready to put in the mail in the morning.  I think you're going to like it.

So much wood too little time Undecided
A full box of mesquite Chunks from Zack
An elm bowl blank that barely fit in the box and a cherry goblet blank from Buck.
A cucumber bowl blank  a piece of red gum and a piece of hackberry (one of my favorite pen woods) from Rodger.

Problem is the Santa carving bussiness is going nuts and is going to get worse in the next couple of months.  One of our Santas was just in Country Sampler magazine and I have been invited as a sponcered artist to the Country Living Magazine show in Ohio in September. Carving pays the bills so it will take priority although I like to turn as much as carve.

The heat/work has taken a lil pep out of me but time to post that my box came yesterday and I am just now opening it up.
My box came from Goody and I made notes on half of it already for the use of pieces towards applied projects.
Thanks Woodturners Resource for this trade-- smiley=thumbsup.gif smiley=thumbsup.gif

Alas, both my boxes are in the hands of the USPS.  As long as they don't get processed through RI they should arrive on Monday at their final destinations.  Enjoy fellas.  They are both packed full of KY love.

How are we doing folks?  Are all the boxes out and on the way to their recipients?  Just a friendly reminder that your wood needs to be out and on its way.  Don't want to send out specific reminders to you.
