Guy, that is a big reason behind the C&T's.  Looking at the pieces from other turners in my Rogue's Gallery always makes me feel good.  We also want to stretch your turning abilities beyond what you imagine you can do.  We also hope more people are trying to do the challenge even if they aren't trading.

Upon closer observation I discovered it was from Carrie.

You're welcome!  I'm glad it arrived safely.  I realized if I had paid attention to the size restrictions on the challenge, I could have gotten mine into the same box you sent yours in, but instead I had to use that great big box.

Sorry about not letting you know Jim, I did contact Robert and let him know that it went out on Wednesday. The Pony Express even via airmail they said could take over a week to get to its destination. Don't know if that is because they may not know where Sandy Utah is or if it is scrutiny at the border. My wife just arrived home with a parcel from the mailman. That is a really neat piece, smiley=thumbsup.gif Thanks Robert, it sits beautifully on the display shelf.

So glad that snail finally got up that far. I ofte think I could walk there faster. It has been soaked a couple times in Danish oil then has a top coat of lacquer so it should be somewhat durable. I hope you enjoy it.
