Thanks Ron --

I will go for the tail stock steady that Jerry (in Tucson) has made available.   I am in Tucson and if there is no objection, I will send a PM to Jerry and see if I can pick it up while I am here.

Ken, thanks for choosing my Tailstock Steady. Send me a pm with your phone number and I'll get back to you right away. You're also in luck as I'm demo'ing how to use it at this Saturday's club meeting. If you haven't been to it before, I'm giving you a formal invitation right now......... Jerry (in Tucson)

Wow... sure glad I didn't sleep in this morning!
Ron, I would just be extremely happy to have one of Reed's Robo-Rests, Wolverine mount, please.

Thanks to all our sponsors for the great prizes, and especially to you and all our moderators for the wonderful job you do.

Jerry and I are set to meet at the Southern Arizona Woodturners Association meeting on Saturday.   It will be interesting to see how they adapt to Wally D's move to Oregon after being a dean of woodturning in Tucson for many years.

For those who don't know Wally, he's the guy that has been woodturning for 75-80 years. Last I heard he's still at it.

Wally Dickerman is a gallery quality wood turner who is now 93 and still turning.   He sees the need for he and his wife to be closer to family now and has moved to the Portland Oregon area year round.  He was summering in the Pacific Northwest and wintering in Tucson.

Wally started turning in is teens and still runs a Oneway lathe.

One of the regular features of the SAWTA Chapter was Wally doing critique on the member gallery (for those who wanted critique) at meetings.   Always gentle and always focused on improvement.

Portland area chapters got a huge gift!!!
