I just joined the forum.  I am a semi-retired potter and started turning about 7 years ago. I live on 11 wooded acres so have plenty of wood available, mostly fallen trees, after they have dried. Turning is similar to trimming the bottoms of pots, except the wood is a bit tougher. I have a Delta Midi, so I am somewhat limited in how large I can go.

Melvin, welcome.

You may be " I am somewhat limited in how large I can go. "  but that does not mean you are limited on what you can do.

Make yourself at home.
