On the one making shingles, My brother-in-law has one. It realy is not that dangerous when using. As is always the case, on any machine, one must always be alert!  Reminds me of the cutoff saw we used to make kindling from branches. It mounted to the PTO of the tractor. MUST KEEP HANDS FROM MOVING PARTS!!

It was actually about similar, although different methods of work used in turning. The potential for injury or death is in the control of the operator.

Like the sign says, this tool has no brain, you have to use your own
